Description:
Maverick is a mixed breed with some beagle in him, we think. He's a playful, affectionate fellow who appears to like children and other dogs. At his first meet-and-greet adoption event, he was eager to greet he new dog friends and play with them. He may have had some prior training as he knows what he's supposed to do when he is taken out for a potty break. . A cat-free household is a requirement for him. Maverick comes to us from a rural shelter in southwestern Virginia, where he had been picked up as a stray. Gender: Neutered Male Approx. DOB: 4/1/2022 Potential Weight: 30 lbs. PLEASE NOTE: we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA.
