Male Dog, Chihuahua
Chihuahua / Pomeranian / Mixed (Medium Coat)
Description:
This is Peanut. Peanut is a neutered male Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, he weighs approximately 10 pounds, up to date with his shots and he is about a year old. He is about 50% house trained. He knows to go potty outside, he's just not sure how to ask to go outside yet, so he will need a little patience and training. Peanut had a family who had an autistic son. As the son got older, it wasn't working out to have a dog. So, peanut was dropped off at the shelter. Peanut is a very affectionate little guy. He loves to be around people getting pets and love. Peanut does well with other dogs and he loves to play. He's not crazy about pit bull breeds, but he does great with all other breeds. I don't think Peanut has ever been around cats, but I think he would do well with them. Peanut would also do well as an only dog. As far as children, he would do best around older kids (8 years & older)Peanut loves long walks, hiking and he just learned how to swim this week! He LOVES swimming now. He loves to eat, he is very food motivated which makes it easy to train him. If you think Peanut would be a good fit for you, fill out the application form on Fancy Cat's Website and we will contact you for a meet and greet. Peanut can't wait to meet you. __________________________________________________ This dog's adoption fee is $525. This includes spay/neuter & microchip.
