Description:
If a dog devoted to you is what you are looking for, this is the dog for you. She doesn’t do great with other dogs, but she is certainly making headway with her interactions with humans; she wants nothing except to be your best friend, and would be happiest in a home with no other pets. We realize that’s not always easy to find, but she is house trained, and adores toys more than anything else! ALIA is five years old, and about 45 pounds. After her initial shock of landing at the shelter, Alia has made great strides and is now one of the happiest most accepting dogs there is in our care. She has been a joy to work with, to take out and play in the playyard, and to greet us volunteers when we walk into the shelter. We know it was tough for her family to give her up, but housing problems meant they could not take her with them when they moved to their new home. We appreciate that she is well socialized, and absolutely enjoys playing with a variety of toys strewn around. She enjoyed playing with Wilbur while he was here, but has not found another friend since Wilbur was adopted. If you want to meet a fun, loving dog, check out Alia! .
