Female Dog, Hound

Hound / Beagle / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

She is less on the shy side, as Birdie has become more willing to hang out with humans, and once she feels comfortable with a leash around her neck, we are sure she will be even happier being able to get outside and play with other dogs. Birdie is being given the opportunity to be leash walked, as a collar is very new to her. We have been pushing her out of her comfort zone in order to help her become more adoptable. That first step is always tough for dogs but well worth it once they realize how many doors will be opened by learning to accept a collar and leash! Knowing she has friends waiting to play with her has really made a difference in her demeanor, AND---she loves toys! PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at [email protected].
