Male Dog, Beagle
Beagle / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
From stray to shelter dog: meet Hal! Now in a foster home! He is about 45 to 50 pounds, short legged, could be a beagle/lab mix. What can we say about Hal? Well he is a “leaner,” and he’s devoted to humans, and he really loves going out for walks with the volunteers. The family who found him in their neighborhood, had children and thought he was OK with the children and when he met a 6 year old at an adoption event the other day, he was perfect. The little boy actually said Hal was his favorite of the 3 dogs at the event. We hope he finds a home quickly because he is really a handsome boy! He is now in a foster home where he plays with the female dog, and has made best friends with the male dog. This is wonderful to see because we weren’t sure how he would be with males. They love wrestling and even share sleeping space. His foster family says Hal is a couch potato. He loves snuggling up next to them on the couch to watch TV. We are impressed and hope someone will consider adopting this handsome boy! He is not only neutered, he is also house trained, and current with vaccines.
