Female Dog, Pit Bull Terrier

Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

This beautiful girl was adopted from us six months ago, and has done beautifully in her new home, with one exception: she is not liked by one of the other dogs in the home, and it has led to constant friction. Because the other dog was there first, Luna is the one who needs to be rehomed, and we want to help her mom with this as quickly as we can. Right now management is working, but Luna is separated from the other dogs for everyone’s safety, and it’s not working well as a long-term project. We understand that anytime there are two female dogs with similar dynamic and holier-than-thou attitudes in the same home, there are often issues and we see no need for owners to push through it if there are other options. We’re asking for a kind comments only, and asking you to share our posts. (As a foster mom, I have been in that situation before and it is rough. As much as we want to work through it, it’s much better for the dog to be rehomed and let someone else love our baby as much as we did.) Here’s what we can tell you about Luna: she is 43 pounds, three and a half years old, remarkably well adjusted, house trained, loves to watch TV, plays nicely with other dogs when they will let her, and enjoy long hikes with her mom. No cats, please. She is crate trained, loves to go riding, and is all around easy and good natured. Does she sound like she might be a good match for you? She is currently still with her mom, but we would like to get applications for her now so we can help her mom make a good match.
