Rhett Butler: at the shelter
Status: Last posted as 'available' on 12/07/24

Male Dog, Siberian Husky

Siberian Husky

Description:

Rhett Butler needs a home outside Virginia with a husky-savvy family! At two years of age, he is a doll-baby with humans, and is fine with other dogs. Like the majority of huskies we have known, he is not a fan of cats and will need someone dedicated to managing his prey drive. Rhett expresses his opinions about shelter confinement on a regular basis by “woo-wooing,” and then the entire shelter of dogs is in agreement. It makes for a most entertaining session, for sure. Please SHARE with your friends who live elsewhere, so we can find him a home! If you have questions about Rhett's availability, please private message our page, and we will happily share his sad story. While we will consider local adopters, there are some stringent requirements for adoption that we don't want to get into here. Your may also email [email protected]. Best fit for Rhett? A home outside our area, and a rescue would be awesome and just what he needs. He lived with another dog and likes other dogs....... PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at [email protected]. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.
