Mavis is looking for her PERSON! Mavis is 2+ years old, mini blue heeler, she has the body of a corgi but a tiny bit taller than a corgi, Mavis loves to train and learn new tricks, food driven, loves ball, and amazing with kids. She is slow to warm up to other dogs and needs super slow introductions. Once she is comfortable with the dog she doesn’t have any issue with them but really doesn’t interact with them. She would thrive as an only dog but would do okay with a laid back dog that’s respectful. Mavis has a good bit of energy but once you tire her out she will relax. She plays wonderfully with my step daughter and is loves every human she meets. She loves to play in the house and kiddie pool. She would thrive doing disc or even dock diving! Prefect hiking or kayaking dog! Sadly for Mavis she went from spending months in a kennel at the shelter to super restricted at her fosters house due to her not doing well with other dogs. She is potty trained and crate trained. She knows to drop the ball and bring it back, and sit.
