Katana is a happy, adorable 3 year old house trained girl. Someone did a number on her ears, but this hasn’t dampened her spirit at all! She loves to go for walks and to snuggle up next to her person. I took her to the boardwalk recently and she had a great time. She was good in the car and sat on command when I wanted to get pictures of her. Katana needs to be an only pet because she is reactive to other dogs. But when we were on the beach, I was surprised to see that she didn’t seem as reactive to other dogs as she normally is in the shelter. This could be due to the stress of the shelter. Still, it’s important to be aware of other dogs when you’re out and about with her to make sure you keep a proper distance. Katana is said to be good with kids. She is also crate trained and would do best in a crate when she’s alone until you know if she can be trusted free in the house. Katana is accepting visitors every day from 12-5. Come meet her today!
