Meet Roy! Roy’s journey is one of resilience and hope. This sweet boy was rescued from tough conditions in Puerto Rico. On Labor Day, our rescuer spotted Roy under a car, dragging his left paw. When she called to him, he came straight to her, as if he knew he was being saved. Sadly, Roy’s leg couldn’t be saved and had to be amputated. He spent several days in the hospital recovering. He has been treated for heartworm, is now healthy, and is ready for his forever home. Roy is: ✔️ About 3 years old ✔️ 24 lbs ✔️ Neutered and vaccinated ✔️ Sociable and walks well on a leash Roy is truly a wonderful companion but isn’t a fan of cats, so he’s looking for a cat-free home.
