Meet Sunny! Oh his cute face is so charming! Sweet Sunny is a one year old scruffy terrier mix, around 23-25 lbs. He grew up in a home where he was quite isolated so when he arrived with us he was a little disoriented and timid. He is in a foster home now and coming out of his shell. From his foster mom: He is a charming spunky fellow. He barks a bit initially when people come to the house but will go up and sniff them once they have sat down and he will let them give him a bit of a scratch. He is getting more confident on walks meeting dogs and walking past people and strollers, I feel with time and exposure he will be super confident dog. He loves playing with Poppy the pit bull, my third foster who failed beautifully who is actually the real mentor here. He is doing great and adapting quickly. Sunny has a little more learning to do but with the right guidance and some patience he will do great. We would like to see him in a home with another dog as this will greatly help his confidence. Kids over 8 is best for him and a home with a yard is ideal. Sunny will be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.
