Female Dog, Great Dane

Great Dane

Description:

Meet Gypsy !!This gentle giant is finally ready for her forever home after a bit of a rough start. She was unfortunately attacked by a dog in her previous home which resulted in a bad wound to the bottom of her paw pad. Being nearly 100lbs with an injury to the bottom of your foot is not easy, and being a puppy on bed rest is nearly impossible ! While still healing some residual pressure sores from her bandages, she has the all clear to move on to her forever home and start being a real puppy !Gypsy doesn't have a single mean bone in her body and despite her experience with the dog in her last home, has not shown any fear or reactivity toward other dogs or people. She loves to ride shotgun in the car, or in the back with her head out the window. And like all danes, she thinks she's a lap dog ! She would love to snuggle up with you on the couch or steal your bed sheets, and give you a look that says, "you can't be mad, I'm too cute!"She is curious and respectful of cats, and should be in a home with kids over 8, or very dog savvy kids, solely because of her size ! She truly does not know how massive she is !Gypsy is 100lbs, approximately one year old, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, but not yet spayed. She will be required to go through reward based obedience classes so that she can be the best version of herself ! Because of her injury, she has not developed many leash skills, and will require a lot of patience. If you would like to know more about Gypsy, please fill out a statement of interest on our website
