Male Dog, Terrier

Terrier (Short Coat)

Description:

NAME: Eugene Ottinger LITTER: He is last of the "Wednesday Addams" litter and his mother is "Larrisa Weems" AGE/GENDER: Born estimated 11/17/2021, male BREED: Pit bull/Australian Cattle Dog mix with some Lab and Shepherd ADULT WEIGHT: 50ish lbs HOUSE TRAINING: Eugene is housebroken as long as you stick to a consistent schedule and be mindful of his subtle signals. CRATE TRAINING: Good. He eats and sleeps in his crate. OTHER DOGS: Good. He definitely enjoys the company of other dogs. Sometimes he can be the annoying little brother, and other dogs may take offense. But Eugene likes everyone he meets. CATS: Nope! He's got a bit of a focus. A bit of a prey drive. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00 HEALTH: Eugene is healthy! He is altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. HISTORY: Eugene, along with his mother and siblings, came to us from Yakima where they had been abandoned behind a house with the only shelter being a crate with a thin blanket on top in the winter! Fortunately, Yakima Valley Pet Rescue found them and transported them to the Seattle area to find a better life. Eugene's siblings and his mother have been adopted and now it's Eugene's turn! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Eugene is a delight and loves one thing, and that's everyone! He loves to play with tennis balls and will happily entertain himself with little games of fetch. He is a quiet boy who only barks when he needs a nighttime potty break or if he is startled by something. He is a goofy giant who just wants to sit on your lap and get belly rubs. Eugene thinks bunnies, cats, and other small critters are very fascinating and he wants to chase them. That being said, a home without small pet may be best. Eugene is young bundle of joy who's bursting with energy and playfulness. Eugene is smart, funny, and above all, incredibly friendly. His goofy antics are sure to bring a smile to your face, and his intelligence will amaze you. When Eugene is happy, he doesn't just wag his tail - he wags his whole body, spreading joy wherever he goes! But Eugene isn't just about fun and games. He's also a loyal companion who's eager to learn and please. Adopting Eugene means gaining a forever friend who will brighten your days with his lively spirit and lovable personality. Let Eugene bring the joy of companionship into your life! All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs. Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email [email protected] and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet! For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org. Thank you for considering adopting a dog in need! Woof, The Motley Zoo Crew
