Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care. HISTORY: Prior to coming to us, Eva spent the first few years of her life chained up, so she's learning how to trust people and live inside- and she's doing great. She has come out of her shell so much. NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Eva is a gentle, sweet, adult husky mix who is looking for a quiet home with another dog. She really understands dogs more than people, so she takes cues and comfort from them and it helps her learn, trust and grow. Eva has come such a long way since she arrived, especially as she's discovered how nice and comfortable a home can be and she no longer wants to be outside in inclement weather or left alone for long. She does however enjoy the yard very much and as she's used to hanging out and enjoying the scenery, she will need a fenced yard for her continued happiness. She is learning to be playful (which she learned from her foster dog friends) and really enjoys the company of dogs and is quite desolate without them. An intense, high-energy household would be difficult for her, but she'd love one where Netflix and chill or quiet walks and hikes are a part of the routine. She is a gorgeous dog who sheds like a maniac as huskies tend to so be aware of the need for brushing! She can now walk on a leash and has some basic obedience training on board. Eva is a gem and we can't wait till someone sees her the way we do! All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email [email protected] and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew
