Male Dog, Spaniel
Spaniel / Chihuahua / Mixed (Medium Coat)
Description:
Animal Profile: Linus is an adorable spaniel/chihuahua mix (best guess) who was rescued from a high kill shelter in San Bernardino, CA. He is estimated to be around 2 years old, and weighs about 12lbs. Foster Update: Meet Linus! If you are looking for a dog that can gaze into your eyes and lock in with your soul, then you've met your match! Linus is an absolute sweetheart with a goofy, affectionate, and contagious personality. It's hard to find him without his favorite stuffed squirrel nearby. He lives to play, and won't let a day pass without frequent asks for fetch or a chance to get his zoomies out. Give him a little space to run, and you'll quickly make his day. Linus has a lot to offer, like his world famous cuddles. He'll come crashing into you, flop on his back, and pass out in your chest. If you dare to stop petting him, he'll be sure to tap your hand with his paw to you let you know he hasn't had enough yet. Linus has enjoyed meeting other dogs, you'll even catch him taking a nap with one of his canine friends. A friendly canine companion could be a big plus for Linus, as he'd love someone to share his love of play with. Linus has a lot of love to share, but he'd also like you to know that he has some areas he'd still like to improve in. Linus is great with the humans within his home, but he can be wary of strangers. He means no harm, but he needs some more confidence building in learning to trust people outside of his pack. With Linus' zest for life, he can get a little overwhelmed on walks and doesn't always know how to contain his excitement. Linus will benefit from ongoing leash training, to curb his pulling & barking at other dogs. With some ongoing focus on basic obedience, we know there are endless possibilities for this sweet boy.
