Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. This beautiful girl is a 4 yr. old Boxer mix. Delaney is very fearful with men. We have no clue what she went through in her past but it must have been awful. She adores women! Delaney has separation anxiety if left alone and would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time. Adoption fee is $175, includes spay, first vaccine and microchip, cash or credit card. Mon.-Sat. 10-4 UPDATE: She is looking for a specific type of home. A home where traffic isn't high. Delaney loves people. She does need a home where she will be the only pet. Delaney becomes protective over her person and home. She does have separation anxiety when she's left alone. She needs someone to work with her and help her understand she is loved. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!)
