Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. Lance is a 1 yr. old handsome Shepherd (and Collie?) mix. He is a very high energy dog that is very playful, although a bit shy at first. He is good with other dogs and great on a leash. If you have another dog, you’ll have to bring them in for a meet and greet. This beautiful boy is in need of a family to call his own! Ask about spending some one-on-one time with him! Adoption fee is $175, cash or credit card. Mon.-Sat. 10-4 STAFF NOTES: Got to spend some time with Lance. And Wow! He is amazing. This boy is so happy. We are not sure what his past was like. At first he ducks like your going to hit him, but once he realizes you're a friend, he's so happy. Lays right in your lap. After about 10 minutes with him he had the zoomies in the room and was throwing toys around. Melted my heart to see how happy he was. He does know 'sit' and he takes treats easy. He is only 1 year old. Lance is good with other dogs but we do not know how he is with cats. Please keep sharing to help Lance. Stop by and meet him! We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!)
