Capone is a handsome 15 year old boy looking for a retirement home! He is deaf, so his home will need to be low-key with no surprises that might startle him-no young kids, but older ones who have respect for boundaries,, and manners would do. (So 13 plus) He's got some lumps and bumps due to age, and seems to not have had any prior grooming- his nails were severely overgrown (shown in the pictures, they have since been trimmed!!) He is a sweet and adorable boy and can't wait to be pampered like he deserves! He loves to be outside, and roam around wherever his nose will take him, so he needs a fenced yard, or someone who can keep a close eye on him. Once he sees you, or you go up to him, he will follow that nose of his if you have something enticing to follow you back, with. He is a low key dog, and just needs a home where he can live comfortably for the remainder of his days. (He came in with his beagle sister, and doesn't show any signs or resource guarding with her, with food/toys etc. He is a great, old man, who deserves a happy, warm and snuggly place to call home. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
