Grace was surrendered to us due to her owner's health. A friend took her in, but discovered she doesn't do well with other female dogs. She does well with cats that aren’t scared of dogs. If a cat runs away, she will chase it, but one that will go nose to nose with her, she is happy! She has unique features, and luckily her previous owner had a DNA test done! We would never have guessed, but her most dominant breed is a Catahoula Leopard. Grace is a very sweet girl who loves to play and can get very silly when she's in the right mood! She is easily entertained and absolutely LOVES her enrichment cardboard boxes! So you need help recycling?! Grace is your gal! She will tear that box apart for you, or drag it to where you need it brought, to. Her favorite toys are of course anything with a squeaker in it, too! She walks amazing on a leash, is 100% potty trained, keeps her bed and blankets very tidy and in the same spot, and really appreciates some extra goodies when it comes to feedings. She has been known to carry her food dish around to somewhere less noisy, or more private where she can eat it. She has a unique personality, and needs a home that will give her the time and love she deserves. If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
